Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
AnimalFeeds.org (“we”, “us”) operates a directory of animal-feed companies, mills, and suppliers, alongside industry news and reference material. This policy explains what information we hold, why, and how listed organisations and site visitors can exercise their rights.
Business listing information
Directory listings describe organisations — company name, locations, category, product range, website, and business contact details such as a general phone number or office email. Much of this information is compiled from publicly available sources (company websites and public business records) and from information supplied to us directly. Where a listing includes a contact detail that identifies an individual, we process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining a useful industry directory, balanced against the interests of the people concerned.
We aim to publish business (role-based) contact details rather than personal ones. If a listing contains information that is inaccurate, out of date, or that you want removed, use the controls described in “Your rights over a listing” below.
Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry, claim a listing, request a change or removal, or contact us, we collect the name, email, organisation, and message you provide, so that we can respond and, in the case of buyer enquiries, route your request to the relevant supplier. We keep this correspondence only as long as needed to handle it and to keep basic records.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited). Where enabled, our analytics provider is configured not to use tracking cookies and not to collect personally identifiable information. We do not sell your data or use it for cross-site advertising.
Sharing
We share buyer enquiries with the supplier they are addressed to. We use service providers to host the site and, where enabled, to send transactional email and record aggregate analytics. We do not otherwise sell or rent personal information.
Your rights over a listing
If your organisation is listed, you can ask us to correct or remove the listing, and — where applicable law gives you the right — to access or erase personal data within it. The fastest route is the “Report or remove this listing” link on any company page, or email office@animalfeeds.org. We respond to verified requests without undue delay.
Your rights as a visitor
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at office@animalfeeds.org to exercise them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
